Venom's Movie Now Has Carnage, But What About Spider-Man? Venom's Movie Now Has Carnage, But What About Spider-Man?
I understand that Marc Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 underperformed based on what the studio was hoping to see, financially. But do audiences want to see a Sinister Six movie, a potential Black Cat movie, or a Venom-Carnage movie WITHOUT Web head? Or is he the gas the keeps the engine moving?

Amazing Spider-Man Producers Talk About Carnage's Potential Future Amazing Spider-Man Producers Talk About Carnage's Potential Future
Given that both Venom and Carnage have alien symboite origin stories in the comics, it makes plenty of sense to pair them together in a film, but at this stage we really can't say whether or not it will actually happen.

Amazing Spider-Man 2 Viral Teases A Future For Carnage Amazing Spider-Man 2 Viral Teases A Future For Carnage
This doesn't confirm that Sony has big future plans for Carnage, but it's not hard to see why or how they might move in that direction. Carnage has been an incredibly popular antagonist for Spider-Man ever since he was introduced in the early 90s, and Sony has already announced that they will be moving forward with a Venom movie sometime in the near future.

Carnage Clip Reveals A Very Drunk Kate Winslet Carnage Clip Reveals A Very Drunk Kate Winslet
Roman Polanski’s Carnage made its way around the festival circuit last year, and received a limited release toward the end of 2011. With the film set to make its way into even more theaters later this week, a clip has arrived online that offers an amusing look at the film, and Kate Winslet in particular.

New Poster For Roman Polanski's Carnage Is Surprisingly Lazy New Poster For Roman Polanski's Carnage Is Surprisingly Lazy
The French poster for Roman Polanski's Carnage was absolutely fantastic. Made to look like an Andy Warhol painting, the one-sheet had the four principal actors looking happy on the left side of the poster, looking disgruntled in the middle, and looking furious on the right. It was perfect for a movie about a group of adults that start off being civil towards each other and slowly become more and more enraged.

Christoph Waltz, Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet And John C. Reilly Act Like Children In New Carnage Trailer Christoph Waltz, Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet And John C. Reilly Act Like Children In New Carnage Trailer
Jodie Foster, John C. Reilly, Christoph Waltz and Kate Winslet star as two pairs of parents who decide to get together when a schoolyard incident pits their respective sons against each other. While things start off civil and nice, as the night goes on tempers begin to flare and the rational adults begin to act more like the children that they are discussing.

Carnage Trailer: Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster, John C. Reilly And Christoph Waltz Behaving Badly Carnage Trailer: Kate Winslet, Jodie Foster, John C. Reilly And Christoph Waltz Behaving Badly
Ben Brantley's New York Times reviewed noted in the opening paragraph that "Oscar time" is usually when you can enjoy "the pleasure of watching really good actors behaving terribly." With Carnage set to open December 16, and the undeniable pedigree of the director and all four leads, it's a clear Oscar season pony to bet on

French Poster For Roman Polanski's Carnage Has The Stars Becoming Enraged French Poster For Roman Polanski's Carnage Has The Stars Becoming Enraged
It's been a long time since Roman Polanski directed a comedy. In 1986 the French filmmaker helmed the adventure comedy Pirates, but every movie since, from Frantic to The Pianist to The Ghost Writer has been a straight drama. This year that streak is finally broken with the release of Carnage and looking at the cast, which includes John C. Reilly, Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet and Christoph Waltz, it should be fantastic.
