Synopsis
Written and directed by Boaz Yakin (Remember the Titans), the action thriller Safe is the story of a former elite agent (Jason Statham) who encounters and rescues a twelve-year-old Chinese girl who's been abducted by the Triads. Armed with a safe-cracking combination, they find themselves in the middle of a stand-off between Triads, the Russian Mafia and high-level corrupt New York City politicians and police. The film is written and directed by Boaz Yakin. Lionsgate and IM Global present in association with Automatik a Lawrence Bender production in association with Trigger Street Productions and 87eleven, Inc. Credits

Jason Statham Protects A 12-Year-Old Girl In First Trailer For SafeChris Sarandon has played some extremely awesome villains in the past. Two of my favorites, in particular, are Prince Humperdinck from The Princess Bride and Jerry Dandrige from the original Fright Night. But while Cary Elwes was pretty handy with a sword and William Ragsdale wasn't a bad vampire hunter, it's hard to say how either character would fare against the power that is Jason Statham. First Poster For Safe Starring Jason StathamYou can't go more than five minutes without seeing Jason Statham's mug anymore. Already this year the British action star has had featured roles in The Mechanic and Gnomeo and Juliet (albeit that was only his voice), but he's far from done.
