Pitch Perfect And Snow White And The Huntsman Sequels Coming In 2015Universal Pictures kicked off their Cinema Con presentation with a remarkable mea culpa, admitting that Battleship was a failure and even that they never should have criticized people who predicted it would be a flop. But they also quickly moved on to the bright side, announcing sequels for two of their biggest hits of the past year, and one of them a complete out-of-the-blue surprise that has earned a sequel they probably never thought it would get...by Katey Rich | published: 2013-04-16 12:29:11comments

Universal Is Having Its Best Domestic Box Office Year EverThis is a big year for Universal Pictures in many ways. As the studio was first founded in 1912, this year marks their 100th anniversary and they've been celebrating with hit after hit. While they've had their fair share of flops - namely titles like Battleship, Wanderlust and Five Year Engagement - they've had far more huge hits. Hear Me Out: We Are Under-Appreciating Chris HemsworthThough I accused him of being "as bored to be stuck with Snow White as we are" when I reviewed the movie back in June, Hemsworth's Huntsman stood out as easily the best thing in the movie on a second viewing, essentially the only character with a pulse in the whole thing. The character is basically Han Solo with an ax...by Katey Rich | published: 2012-09-25 10:27:42comments
