New Jungle Book Adaptation To Be Developed By Harry Potter Scribe Steve Kloves
When discussing The Jungle Book, most people think about the fantastic animated animated version from 1967, but the truth is that there actually is a halfway decent live-action version out there as well. Directed by Stephen Sommers, the Rudyard Kipling adaptation had a stellar cast that included Cary Elwes, Lena Headey, Sam Neill, John Cleese and Jason Flemyng and actually did a great job of integrating real animals into the story.
