We'll have a full report on this weekend's box office later today, but it seems worth highlighting the limited release-- especially the fact that Woody Allen, so late in his career, has hit yet another one out of the park. Woody Allen's Next Project Gets A New Title
Midnight in Paris was a true hit at the box office. Made for only $17 million, the film wound up grossing nearly $150 million worldwide and it became Woody Allen's most successful domestic release ever (without adjusting for inflation). Apparently Sony Pictures Classics thinks that the project's success came from having the name of a European city in the title, so they've decided to use that tactic again for Allen's next project.

Penelope Cruz Attached To Woody Allen's Rome Project
Back in 2009, Penelope Cruz won her first Academy Award for her supporting role in Vicky Christina Barcelona. Given Woody Allen's penchant for casting the same actresses in multiple movies, it's somewhat surprising that this story wasn't reported years ago.
