Weekend Box Office: The Hobbit Holds First Place, Anchorman Takes Not So Legendary Second Weekend Box Office: The Hobbit Holds First Place, Anchorman Takes Not So Legendary Second
Despite a sharp drop of almost 60% from last weekend, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug enjoyed a weekend without major competition and a second weekend at number one. The repeat top spot comes as a surprise given the high expectations for the newcomer sequel to Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

This Rotten Week: Predicting Anchorman 2, Walking with Dinosaurs and Her Reviews This Rotten Week: Predicting Anchorman 2, Walking with Dinosaurs and Her Reviews
I’m only moments from the time-honored tradition of trekking out into the first significant snowfall of the season and trudging a sled up and down a local hill with Little Rotten Week screaming “Go faster” and “My nose is chilly! Fix it!” Looking forward to “bonding”. But before I perform my Father of the Year duties, we’ve got some movies to discuss. It’s Ron Burgundy, dinosaurs and loving computers.

December Movie Preview: From Middle Earth To Wall Street December Movie Preview: From Middle Earth To Wall Street
The holiday season is officially upon us, observed less through Christmas decorations and cold weather and more by the onslaught of Oscar fare hitting theaters this month. December is always a truly great time for both quality dramas and big bombastic comedies, and this year won’t be bucking that trend.

Walking With Dinosaurs Trailer Shows Dinos On The Move Walking With Dinosaurs Trailer Shows Dinos On The Move
This Christmas, 20th Century Fox and Reliance Entertainment will bring Walking with Dinosaurs into theaters, a 3D film that promises to let viewers truly see and feel what it was like when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. I'm guessing cold and scary. What sets the latest trailer apart from the international trailer released earlier this month is the narration.

Walking With Dinosaurs Trailer Brings Prehistoric Creatures Back To Life Walking With Dinosaurs Trailer Brings Prehistoric Creatures Back To Life
Watching this UK trailer for Walking With Dinosaurs, I am left with one question: is this going to be a silent movie? I don't get the impression that the dinosaur characters are going to talk in this one, and the voice over was clearly made just for the trailer, so does that leave the film to just be an experimental silent movie about prehistoric creatures?
