The famous Jimmy Choo shoes Sarah Jessica Parker's Sex And The City character lost on a ferry in an episode of the cult TV show in a 2000 episode have been brought out of the closet.
The feather-look strap heels were discontinued some years ago but Jimmy Choo founder and designer Tamara Mellon has put them back on store shelves to mark the release of Sex And The City: The Movie.
Mellon admits she owes a lot to the TV series, and was shocked when Parker's Carrie Bradshaw helped establish her shoes brand on the show.
She recalls, "I was just watching the show like every other viewer and then you saw Sarah Jessica had lost her Choo and she was running to the ferry, shouting, `I've lost my Choo!'
"We brought the shoe back by popular demand."
Mellon also designed the new Atlas shoe, which Parker wears in the new movie, along with other footwear designs for the film. (KL/WNVACC/JMA)
