Wrestler-turned-movie star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson is to be honoured with a star on Las Vegas' version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Scorpion King star will be feted outside Brenden Theatres at the Palms Casino Resort on Sunday (15Jun08) - by Johnny Brenden, the grandson of the former owner of Mann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
Johnson will join Dennis Hopper, Sylvester Stallone, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Hugh Hefner and Dean Cain among the previous recipients of the Brenden Celebrity Star.
In addition to dedicating the Brenden Celebrity Star to the actor, Brenden will also make a $2,500 (#1,250) contribution to Johnson's charity, The Rock Foundation, according to TheVegasEye.com. (KL/WNWC/IG)
