50 Gets Chain Stolen, Throws Fists

Swiping an unattended purse is poor form. Secretly buying up a company’s stock to gain a majority stake and selling off the assets is borderline immoral. Jumping on stage at a 50 Cent concert and stealing the rapper’s prized gold chain is downright ballsy.

During 50 Cent’s recent trip to Africa, a courageous and perhaps emotionally unstable concertgoer vaulted onto the stage and grabbed a piece of jewelry right off the megastar’s neck before launching himself off the platform ala John Wilkes Booth circa 1865. Though unlike Lincoln, 50 leapt after his assailant, firing fists at the mugger amidst a cavalcade of confusion. When the dust settled, the chain was back around the rapper’s neck, and the demoralized thief’s whereabouts were unknown.

Somehow, TMZ has obtained a video of the assault; so, I would suggest clicking over immediately. For my money, there’s not much that beats watching a desperate and pathetic man get pummeled by his millionaire icon. Except lasagna. Lasagna is better.
