Brinkley Divorce Trial Heats Up

We’re a few days into the explosive Christie Brinkley/ Peter Cook divorce trial, and well, she’s quite a ways ahead on points. Lawyers for the supermodel have already alleged Cook blew thousands of dollars on internet porn websites and cheated on his wife with a teenage girl, claims which the forty-nine year old has basically admitted. But don’t count the suave businessman out yet.

According to The New York Daily News, litigators for Cook are ready to introduce a few damaging allegations in court this week including vengeful emails and a vicious psychiatric opinion. Both parties are seeking custody of the children. Brinkley’s lawyers, meanwhile, are planning to counter with charges of irresponsibility stemming from Cook introducing his children to his new girlfriends, buying them motorbikes, and driving eighty miles per hour. I’m all for behaving responsibly around the youngins, but I wasn’t even aware motoring at eighty is considered reckless. The times they are a changin’.

Here’s to hoping the ill-will doesn’t get too out of control, allowing for a harmonious home life for those children.
