CSI creator Anthony Zuiker and his ex still haven’t worked out all of their money issues, but in the eyes of the law, they are now officially divorced. The rapid pace was reportedly his wish because he’s hoping to wed his new girlfriend, preschool teacher Michelle Territo sooner rather than later.

According to TMZ, Anthony and his ex-wife Jennifer married thirteen years ago without any kind of prenuptial agreement. With the success of three versions of CSI, they made millions and millions of dollars. After their separation, she famously asked the court for more child and spousal support even though she was getting more than four hundred thousand dollars a month between his payments and her profits from the show; so, clearly, she's not willing to take less than her half.

Over the past few months, this divorce battle has gotten really nasty. She’s pointed the finger at him concerning money, and he’s called into question her ability to properly parent. The former couple’s three children have been caught somewhere in the middle. The fiscal concerns are still to be worked out, but now that the split is legal, hopefully both parties will use this as an opportunity to step back and start playing nice. There’s enough money for both to live like bandits for the rest of their lives, and it’s in the children’s best interests for everyone to relax and make the best of a less than ideal situation.
