It’s amazing what a few months of publicity can do for an actress. Boy Meets World’s Danielle Fishel had largely been out of the public eye in recent year, but when Disney signed on for a sequel called Girl Meets World, the fans came a’calling. Now, Fishel is this month’s Maxim cover girl.

In the magazine, Fishel talks openly about her experiences on ABC’s T.G.I.F. The actress actually showed up in ABC’s famous Friday night lineup on Full House before landing the role of Topanga Lawrence on Boy Meets World, a role that made her famous. Years and years later, Fishel says she met up with her Boy Meets World peers, including Will Friedle, Ben Savage, and Ryder Strong for a reunion dinner.
“We went to Rider’s house for dinner, and it was one of the more fun evenings I’ve had in my whole life. With the news of Girl Meets World coming out, we were kind of like, well, let’s actually have a reunion.”

Fishel also spoke to Maxim about having a tramp stamp, getting engaged to a dude with a Mortal Kombat tattoo, finishing college, and busting out the lyrics to nineties rap, including Snoop Dogg and Notorious B.I.G. The entire article, with plenty of photo ops, is available on newsstands this week.
