Amy Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil is reportedly heading back to prison after failing a court-ordered drugs test.
Fielder-Civil was released from prison in early November (08) after serving almost a year behind bars in relation to an attack on a pub landlord in 2006. As part of his early release deal, Fielder-Civil agreed to check straight into rehab in Surrey, England, and spend a month seeking treatment for his drug addiction.
But the 26-year-old is now said to have failed a mandatory drugs test which will see him sent back to prison at the end of the month (Dec08) to serve out the remainder of his sentence - meaning he could stay behind bars until early 2010.
A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "If he had stayed in prison last month rather than taking the rehab option he was set to be released at the end of this month. He's blown it." After hearing the news, Fielder-Civil reportedly left the LifeWorks clinic to visit his wife at a London hospital, where she is being treated after suffering an adverse reaction to prescription medication last month (Nov08), to beg her not to give up on their marriage.
The source adds, "Blake did a runner. He turned up in hospital and hell broke loose - everyone was totally shocked. "He was asking Amy to forgive him. As he was going back inside anyway he felt he didn't have much to lose." Fielder-Civil lost an appeal against his 27-month sentence last month (Nov08). (LR/WNTSU&WNTMI/MT)
