Freeman's Marriage Ends

After almost losing his life earlier this week in a horrifying car accident, Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman has lost the fight to save his marriage. After twenty-four years together, Freeman and his wife Myrna Colley-Lee have begun divorce proceedings. According to a mutual friend, the two have supposedly been separated for the better part of a year.

While not exactly a Hollywood super couple, in the traditional sense at least, the pair were considered pillars of the community, frequently being photographed together for various charity functions and nights out on the town. According to E! Online, Myrna works as a costumer, but searches of imdb were unable to ascertain what exactly that means or who she might work for. We all know what Morgan Freeman does.

While no one would consider this separation a positive, it should be noted as a possible opportunity for all those under twenty-five female Cinema Blend readers with deep-seeded dreams of becoming the next Anna Nicole Smith. I’m pretty sure Morgan Freeman doesn’t have J. Howard Marshall money, but he’s got enough for a sweet little penthouse.
