Lindsay Lohan has had her stint on hit TV show Ugly Betty cut from six episodes to four - amid rumors of tensions onset.
The Mean Girls star has been accused of disrupting filming with her diva antics and of feuding with her co-star America Ferrera.
A source tells New York Post gossip column PageSix, "It was a mess. Lindsay would show up every day with an entourage of people. She smoked 24/7, and after she left, they had to repaint her dressing room it was such a mess. And she refused to go on set until America was there - it was a power play."
Lohan's representative has confirmed the actress' run on the show has been shortened - but insists the decision was an amicable one. The spokesperson says, "Lindsay was scheduled for six episodes and is appearing in four but had a lovely time."
Ferrera's representative has also played down reports of ill feeling between the pair: "America is grateful to have had her on the show and thinks everyone should tune in to see how great the episodes are." (LR/WNWCPS/ZN)
