Indiana Jones creator George Lucas is dreading the character's return to the
silver screen - because he is convinced everyone is going to hate the new
movie.
The famed filmmaker has taken on the role of executive producer of Indiana
Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, alongside director Steven
Spielberg, which is due for release later this year (08).
However, Lucas fears the movie could be a major box office disappointment as
he believes reviewers won't give it a fair chance - because fans of the
original trilogy are already upset at the decision to make a fourth
installment.
He says, "I know the critics are going to hate it. So there's nothing we can
do about that. They hate the idea of making another one. They've already made
up their minds.
"The fans are all upset. They're always going to be upset - 'Why did he do it
like this?' So you just have to stand by for the bricks and custard pies."
