Believe it or not, the children of sitting Presidents actually have a history of involving themselves in show business. Ronald Reagan’s son Ron hosted Saturday Night Live in 1986. Woodrow Wilson’s daughter had a recording contract while her father was in office, and now President-Elect Barack Obama’s children may appear in the astoundingly popular Hannah Montana.
You may remember Obama’s two daughters from the Democratic National Convention when they interacted with the Senator on an abnormally large Jumbotron. Malia, 10, was very serene and respectful, while younger sister Sasha, 7, was more talkative and dare I say obnoxious at points. According to Reuters, the episode would likely be filmed around April, but nothing has been confirmed or denied yet. So, hold off on those celebratory episode-watching parties for the time being. It’s still possible you could tune in and only see Miley Cyrus and that guy who plays a high schooler but’s actually thirty-something.
