Child Pornography laws and statutory rape laws in this country are so backwards. People don\'t reach consentual maturity, right exactly the minute they turn 18. There needs to be a gradual degree of law, based on the person\'s age, from illegal to legal age. Right now it\'s all the same. Have sex with a 17 year old, they\'ll be charged with statutory rape, felony, labeled a child predator for life. However, if a 17 year old were to have sex with a 6 year old. It wouldn\'t be considered wrong in this country, simply because the 17 year old, in the law\'s eyes, wouldn\'t know what he/she was doing.

You see even children, themselves, taking naked pictures of themselves and then being charged with child pornography for possessing a nude picture of THEMSELVES. I am a 38 year old mom. I have a 10 year old daughter. I am so tired of this one sided thing. yes if kelly have a problem with young girls. he does need to pay, but jail is not the answer for a mental problem.
