A few hours ago, Twilight: Breaking Dawn—Part 2 officially opened via midnight showings across the country, and given the quality of the final movie, it’s likely hardcore fans left the theaters extremely happy. A case could definitely be made that Part 2 is the best of all the Twilight films. The direction is good. The graphics are good, and the chemistry between Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is top notch.

Over the course of the first four films, R-Patz and K-Stew developed quite an on-screen chemistry. People often think off-screen chemistry always translates, but that’s really not true. It requires an entirely different skill set to make audiences believe there’s a connection, and luckily for Twilight fans, both Rob and Kristen are flush with those skills.

Considering how much money Twilight is bound to make over the next few months, it’s a guarantee numerous producers and directors will try to coax the leads into working together again. The real life couple met on the set, and they obviously love spending time together. That being said, however, they also zealously value their personal lives, and if the past few months have taught them anything, it’s that being under the microscope together isn’t necessarily better.

I would like to see Rob and Kristen work together again, but I’m not really sure whether they’ll join forces given how much attention such a partnership would likely bring. What do you think? Will Pattinson and Stewart play the leads in another film in the future? Let us know your thoughts by voting in the poll below…
