Sarah Palin's Strange Hotel Requests The diva behavior is already rearing its ugly head. Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin checked into New York City’s Omni Berkshire Hotel this weekend for her special Saturday Night Live appearance, unloading a slew of requests on the hotel staff including diet sodas, Atkins bars, and of course, skinny mochas without whip. She said no whip, goddamnit!

According to TMZ, Palin also asked for copies of several specific newspapers, as well as thin red coffee stirrers. I just use spoons myself. I didn’t know anyone actually gave a shit about what device they used to stir their drinks, but I guess that’s how they roll in fancy-pants Alaska.

Editor’s Note: This articles should not, by any means, be construed as sexist. I’m sure Barack Obama asks for grilled cheese with the crusts cut off or some crazy shit like that. The writer simply referred to her as a diva to invoke comparisons to Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, and various other legendarily disagreeable people. The fact that all involved are women is merely a coincidence and no way a societal commentary on the unreasonable natures of females in general.
