SHARON and KELLY OSBOURNE were thrown off a nudist beach on a Spanish vacation - because they wouldn't strip. The pair were stunned to be asked to leave the stretch of sand on the island of Mallorca.

Kelly explains, "I went to Mallorca with my mum and we were on a beach and asked to move because we wouldn't go topless. It was my worst holiday."

Nude beaches are nude beaches. If you go to a nude beach, you get nude. Otherwise, you are a prude gawker.

It's a sad state of affairs when nudists become as compulsive as textiles.

The best beaches in the world are "clothing optional", where everyone wears as much or as little as he or she chooses. (But those of us who choose to wear nothing get the most enjoyment.)

Clearly "The Snark" has never been to a nude beach, since the only pervs there are the (usually clothed) gawkers who are there to leer and drool. In general nude beaches are more conservative and family-friendly than clothed ones. Nudists are generally very good about policing themselves, whereas at most clothed beaches (and "clothed" may mean only a few square inches of brightly colored cloth which do nothing but emphasize "strategic areas") there is an air of "anything goes," whether it's drinking, playing loud music or making out. Maybe you should check it out before you slam it. And by the way, if you're a Christian and believe we were created in God's image, then our bodies are in no way "horrid."

i'd lay odds on "The Snark" coming from some kind of repressive environment, where sniggering behind trees and titillation by the sight of exposed flesh, is enough for arousal - probably from somewhere in the US. It always amazes me in Europe, if you happen to be traveling when the septics are having their "spring break" that they flock to the beaches to snap away at womens boobs. America is an odd country full of odd people (with a fair number fully armed)
