The Sundance Film Festival isn’t just a place to find great new films, it’s also a place to find washed up celebrities desperately using whatever celebrity they have left to try and earn a little money. Chief among those self-whoring ex-celebs at Sundance this year, is former ‘Saved by the Bell’ star Dustin “Screech” Diamond.
Reporters caught up with Dustin at the festival, wandering around with a big bag of shwag. It seems Screech is in a competition with former ‘Different Strokes’ star Gary Coleman, to see who can distribute the most useless crap, aka shwag, to crowds of festival goers. Well, on the Screech scale of shame this is at least a big step up from celebrity boxing, t-shirt selling, and scary sex videos… isn’t it? Go Screech!
