Say what you want about drama queen Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens, but the man really came through for one journalist before the ESPYs. The unidentified reporter was struck by a vehicle, prompting Owens to leave the red carpet immediately to check the injured man’s condition. Bravo, T.O.
According to TMZ, Terrell told the gossip site he would have done the same for anyone. Good for number eighty-one. I’ve been among the millions who have bashed the money-grubbing star for the last five years, but he’s really changed things around over the last year. Between the infamous postgame press conference when he lashed out at reporters for criticizing teammate Tony Romo to playing through numerous injuries, Terrell Owens is now a man who I’d happily take on my beloved Chicago Bears.
Keep it up, Terrell. As much as I’ve doubted you, at least a part of me always thought you had the potential to be something more than just a good receiver who showed flashes of brilliance.
