Tom Hanks didn't wear underwear while he was shooting 'The Da Vinci Code'.
The Oscar-winning actor decided to go without pants because he was terrified viewers would spot a "visible pants line" through his tight trousers.
The 'Forest Gump' star also revealed he stripped in front of the Mona Lisa - which is on display at Paris' Louvre art gallery - while filming the movie.
He said: "A lot of filming took place inside the Louvre and we used the hall where the Mona Lisa is displayed to store equipment that was not in use.
"I also changed clothes in front of a statue of Apollo that is maybe 5000 years old."
The actor and his co-stars, French actress Audrey Tautou and Sir Ian McKellen, were allowed to film the Hollywood adaptation of Dan Brown's best-selling book in the gallery after French authorities gave their permission.
