I’ve been to Lollapalooza several times, and on every single one of those occasions, I’ve seen fans scale fences clearly labeled “Do Not Climb” in an effort to either get in for free or to get closer to the stage. More often than not, the schemes are thwarted almost immediately by security guards, but even admist all that failure, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen one go as poorly as this.

Over the weekend at the Melbourne Soundwave Festival, a random girl decided she needed to hop a fence in order to get closer to Blink-182. She got up easily enough, but unfortunately, as she was making her way down, she wound up giving herself a giant wedgie in front of everyone content to stay on the other side of the fence. Check out the hilarity below, which, be advised of course, features a brief wedge…

Everyone wishes they were closer to the stage at concerts. If being right in front of the band was less desirable, the tickets wouldn’t be more expensive and/ or wouldn’t require people to line up way in advance. Pushy people who don’t think the rules apply to them will always try and jump fences at the expense of everyone else, but luckily for the rest of us, it’s nice to know karma sometimes pushes back.
