Oscar-winning director Woody Allen is no fan of his own films - he's adamant he's never made a masterpiece.

The veteran moviemaker has won three Academy Awards in his 45-year career, and his classic 1977 comedy Annie Hall scooped four Oscars, including Best Picture. But Allen is not satisfied with his enormous body of work, insisting he's never produced a perfect movie.

He tells the New York Daily News, "You know, I've made a lot of films, but I've never felt like I really made a masterpiece, and I would love to. That would be fun." (ZN/NYDN/CL)
