Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Series Premiere Review
If a pilot’s job is to both establish the world that a show exists in and make audiences excited for episode two, then it’s hard to find anything to complain about in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. With an awesome ensemble of characters, some great action, and strong ties to the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will make fanboys everywhere smile, it’s hard not to be psyched for what they have in store for us next.
Ron Moore Is As Surprised As Anyone He's Working On Helix
During the Helix panel at Comic Con, Ron Moore talked about how he repeatedly refused to read the script for the show’s pilot because the subject matter just wasn’t really in his wheelhouse. Considering the highly anticipated SyFy channel original is very much inside the science fiction genre and seeks to examine larger ethical questions, Moore’s stated apprehension confused more than a few people.
Wilfred 2013 Comic-Con Panel Recap
Making its third appearance at SDCC, the Wilfred panel finally managed to avoid questions about The Hobbit. FX's surreal comedy about a mentally disturbed young man and the odd relationship he has with his neighbor's dog or, more appropriately, man in a dog suit stars Elijah Wood and he appeared on the panel via satellite while Jason Gann, Fiona Gubelmann and Dorian Brown as well as showrunners Eli Jorné and Reed Agnew and executive producer David Zuckerman were all in there in person.
Partying With The Walking Dead And Weezer At Comic Con
Comic-Con is a lot of things, one of which is an opportunity for celebrity encounters. With so many TV shows and movies being promoted here, there are no shortage of famous and familiar faces, and we saw some of them on Friday night at The Walking Dead party, which began with a black carpet celebrity arrival and led into a rocking outdoor party set up in a parking lot, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Robert Kirkman's beloved zombie comic The Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead Challenges Fans To Design The Baddest Zombie Survival Car
If you were tasked with building the ultimate zombie-survival automobile, what would it look like? Would it have machetes on the hood? Automatic shotguns attached to the driver-side window? Flame throwers? It seems like you have to have a flame thrower or two. These are the questions being asked by the folks behind The Walking Dead Chop Shop.
Under The Dome Comic-Con Panel Live Blog
It's Sunday and things at Comic-Con are starting to wind down, though there are still a few big panels set to take place. CBS' new summer series Under the Dome is one of them. For those of you who can't be here, I'll be doing the play-by-play of the panel here in Room 6BCF for you! Expected panelists include stars of the CBS drama, Dean Norris, Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, as well as executive producers Brian K. Vaughan, Neal Bear and Jack Bender.
Community Comic-Con 2013 Live Blog
Few comedies on television have gone through as much drama as Community has, but the future is looking pretty damn bright. NBC has renewed the show for a fourth season, Chevy Chase - who was at the center of many of the series’ behind the scenes problems – has graduated and moved on, and (most importantly) creator Dan Harmon is back as showrunner.
Doctor Who Comic-Con 2013 Live Blog
At San Diego Comic-Con there are few franchises that get people as excited as Doctor Who. Every year you can walk back and forth in front of the convention center and on the exhibit floor and see an endless number of fans walking around dressed as their favorite Doctor or companion. Naturally, the Doctor Who panel is one of the biggest presentations during the entire event, but this year is even more special than usual.
Video Interviews: Being Human Cast And Showrunner Discuss Season 4
Among the many TV series featured at Comic-Con this year was Syfy's Being Human, and I had the opportunity to sit down with the cast and showrunner to talk about what's ahead for Aidan, Josh, Sally and Nora when the series returns for its fourth season. It should go without saying that there will be spoilers for those who aren't caught up through Season 3, so please keep that in mind before reading on or watching the videos.
Breaking Bad Comic-Con 2013 Live Blog
This summer will mark the beginning of the end of one of the greatest television shows of all time. On August 11th AMC will debut the first episode of the second half of Breaking Bad’s fifth and final season, and we will finally figure out what will happen to Walt, Jesse, Hank, Skyler and the rest of the Albuquerque gang. But before any of that, today we get a very special sneak peek.
Arrow 2013 Comic-Con Panel Live Blog
The pilot premiered at SDCC last year and now Arrow is back at the Con to promote the upcoming season second of the superhero series. In attendance for the panel are stars Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards and Colton Haynes as well as executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg. The CW action adventure is also bringing a special preview of the upcoming season, one that focusses on Oliver's 'transformation from vigilante to hero.'
Revolution 2013 Comic-Con Panel Live Blog
Revolution’s panel at Comic-Con has been titled “Special Video Presentation and Q&A”. What exactly that means is anyone’s guess. We could be getting the entire first episode of Season 2. We could be getting a 2 minute trailer. We could be getting a deleted scene from Season 1. We don’t have the slightest idea what the hell is going to happen, but we will be there. So, the second we find out, we’ll let you know via this live blog, as well as the answers to the Q&A questions.
Person Of Interest 2013 Comic-Con Panel Live Blog
CBS shows might not typically be known for rapid, cult followings, but Person Of Interest is a special case. Unlike the majority of the network’s shows that are consumed by a very large number of casual viewers, Person Of Interest has a very rabid viewerbase, and they should be out in full force today during the program’s Comic-Con Panel. We’ve been told there will be a special video presentation and Q&A, and we’ll bring it all to you live, whatever it might entail.
True Blood 2013 Comic-Con Panel Live Blog
True Blood has become a Comic-Con staple over the last few years, always getting a huge crowd out to the panel as well as many, many cosplayers riffing on the show. Once again moderated by Tim Stack of Entertainment Weekly, the stars on the dais include Kristin Bauer van Straten, Anna Camp, Nelsan Ellis, Rob Kazinsky, Ryan Kwanten, Joe Manganiello,, Michael McMillian, Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin, Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley and Deborah Ann Woll. Thirsty?
Ted's Kids Strike Back In How I Met Your Mother Comic-Con Video
I, for one, am just happy to see Lyndsy Fonseca and David Henrie all grown up, and seeming to really relish throwing a few F-bombs at the disembodied voice of Bob Saget, who just can't believe they're not interested in hearing about his Greek yogurt breakfast and the million other inane anecdotes he's told them over the years
