Not many men can afford a demanding woman. Diamonds, cars and elegant dinners are one thing, but First Look Studios may have something within your budget to impress your lady. The romantic comedy Priceless will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray November 18th. It’s not covered in jewels or anything so you’ll be able to pick it up for the minimal price of $34.98.
Irene (Audrey Tautou) can’t help but to indulge in the glamour of the French Riviera. Her advanced abilities in the art of seducing men put the old and wealthy at her fingertips. There isn’t a man she can’t convince to shower her with all of couture she desires. This enchantress gets a taste of her own medicine when she pursues a man, Jean (Gad Elmaleh), whom she believes to be a rich bachelor but who is, in fact, is a bartender who serves the men she dates. After the two spend the night together, Irene realizes Jean is not the man she thought he was. This innocent ignorance only thrills Jean more and leads him to pursue her heart by playing her own game.
Sounds like a Sunday afternoon mood booster to me. You know how everyone suffers from Sunday night syndrome plagued by the fact that they must begin another monotonous workweek the next morning? Well, this sounds like a nice light-hearted cure. And for those of you who don’t have to go to work on Monday, a smile never hurt anyone.
