It may surprise some of you to learn, but there is an Anchorman semi-sequel floating out in the world. When the Adam McKay-Will Ferrell fill came to DVD for the first time, it was packaged alongside with another film called Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie. In addition to including alternate takes of scenes in the original film, there is also an entirely new side-plot, featuring an incredibly disorganized terrorist group called The Alarm Clock made up of Maya Rudolph, Kevin Corrigan, Chuck D. It turns out that it wasn't Rudolph's passion to play Kanshasha X, however. She wanted to be Veronica Corningstone.

MovieWeb has received Rudolph's audition tape for the film, which will be included on the upcoming Blu-ray release, called the “Rich Mahogany" Edition. The scene she is performing was actually removed from the final film (though is featured in Wake Up), and features Veronica begging Ron to do her on the conference table. It's hard to imagine anyone other than Christina Applegate in the role now, but that doesn't mean it's not fun to watch.
