Bone Up For Bones On DVD

Bone Up For Bones On DVD To unravel a murder, you have to strip it to the bone. Well, in your case, all you’ll have to do is take off the wrapper and then manage to get that stupid security sticker off, but to watch the third season of Bones on DVD, it might be worth it.

This “Totally Decomposed Edition” of the third season is packed with crime scenes waiting for Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and F.B.I. Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) to investigate. Between Brennan’s impeccable ability to find the clues in even the most decayed and decomposed subjects and Booth’s expertise on the streets, the two make an unstoppable team. The duo also look to colleagues including artist Angela Montenegro (Michaela Conlin), young genius Dr. Zack Addy (Eric Millegan), insect expert and conspiracy theorist Dr. Jack Hodgins (T.J. Thyne), coroner Dr. Camille Saroyan (Tamara Taylor) and therapist Dr. Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley) for their two cents in their gruesome situations. This season, the bonafide group (haha, get it?) is on the lookout for a serial killer who opts to toss the remains of his victims off freeway overpasses. Classy.

The set comes with five discs which have the season’s 15 episodes on them in addition to some bonus features. Unfortunately the list of extras seem to be limited to episode and scene extensions, so if you’re looking for some gory behind-the-scenes details you may not want to spend the $59.98 for this collection. But, if you’re like me, and are satisfied with the substitution of an episode of a TV series for a bedtime story than you better jump on line on November 18th and get your copy. Being that I’m almost finished watching the Dexter series on DVD, I’m thinking Bones could be next in line.
