Comfy couch, vodka on the rocks and a cigar. The only thing you’re missing? Season four of Boston Legal on DVD of course! But don’t you worry now. Thanks to Fox Home Entertainment you can own the fourth season of this fast-paced legal drama on DVD September 23rd.
Your favorite quirky litigators, Alan Shore (James Spader) and Denny Crane (William Shatner), are at it again at Crane Poole & Schmidt. They may be ethically challeneged and rather unpredictable when it comes to their methods of practice, but everything at the firm is kept in check thanks to the watchful eye of the firm’s founding partner, Shirley Schmidt (Candice Bergen) with the help of newly recruited senior partner Carl Sack (John Larroquette). Or, at least as much as a slew of kidnappings, love affairs, attempted murders and extortion can be. Oh, you thought I was referring to the cases these lawyers take? Oh no! I meant the lawyers themselves. It’ll be an open and shut case when deciding whether or not to purchase this 5-disc set which is packed with Emmy award-winning roles and the brilliance of television production and writing icon David E. Kelley. You’ll even get a special feature called “The News Kids on the Courtroom Floor featurette.” Law dramadies may not be my show of choice, but Boston Legal has maintained a small, but devoted fan base over the years that I’m sure will be lining up to pay the $59.98 And for those of you BL newcomers, you better be prepared to catch up quick because the fifth season of the show begins the day before the fourth season DVD is released on Monday, September 22nd at 10/9c on ABC.
