Breaking Bad First And Second Seasons Coming To Blu-Ray Same DayAuthor: David Wharton

Good news for fans of AMC's outstanding drug drama Breaking Bad, as Amazon has added a pre-order listing indicating that Sony is re-releasing the freshman season on Blu-ray the same day that the second season finally arrives on Blu-ray and DVD. That day is March 9th, and if you're a fan of compelling drama, it's a day you'll be marking on your calendar.
Breaking Bad stars Malcolm in the Middle's Bryan Cranston as a high school chemistry teacher who turns to cooking meth with a junkie former student to save up money for his family after he discovers he has terminal cancer. Cranston's Emmy-winning performance as Walter H. White is stellar and the show's gripping second season was a compelling portrait of good intentions rapidly sliding down the road to hell, wrapping up in a truly jaw-dropping finale. Along with Mad Men and Sons of Anarchy, Breaking Bad is one of the best shows on television these days, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Since we don't have an official press release yet, we don't have cover art or special features info, but we'll report on those once we know more. The first season on Blu-ray is listing for $39.95 over on Amazon, and the second season will set you back $49.95 for the Blu-ray or $39.95 for the DVD. It sounds like March 9th will be a perfect opportunity for people curious about the show to dive in headfirst. |
