Watching these two new clips for Operation: Endgame it’s kind of easy to understand why it’s going direct-to-DVD, in spite of an impressive comedic cast. Zach Galifianakis, Rob Corddry, Adam Scott, Ellen Barkin, Emilie de Ravin, Maggie Q, Ving Rhames, Jeffrey Tambor, and Bob Odenkirk star in comedy (sort of) about two teams of rival government assassins forced to team up and find a killer before the whole place explodes.

The two red band clips below do a pretty good job of setting things up. The new guy is introduced and they make plans to hunt “The Hermit”, played by Zach Galifiankis. While you’ll find some marginally amusing dialogue here (Ving Rhames character is described as the black MacGyver without the fancy mullet) everything about Operation: Endgame screams direct-to-DVD. Maybe it’ll be worth your time through Netflix, but in your DVD player is probably where it belongs. Take a look:
