I hate to admit this, but I didn’t realize Comic Relief was still around. As a fan of Robin Williams and Billy Crystal (and, grudgingly, I’ll admit to enjoying Whoopi as well in her heyday), I never missed the chance to see the fundraiser when it was in its prime. Apparently its still around, and still pulling in big names like Lewis Black, Dane Cook, Jon Stewart, and more.

If you’re like me and didn’t realize Bob Zmuda’s brain child was still around, there’s good news. Shout! Factory has collected together twenty years worth of highlights for the DVD Comic Relief: The Greatest… And The Latest, which hit DVD earlier this month.

Okay, maybe we’re a little late getting the press information on this one, but it’s definitely worth a look for fans of stand-up comedy. To make up for the late announcement, here are two short clips that you’ll also find on the DVD release. The first is a piece done by Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and the duo’s respective Comedy Central shows. The second is Chris Rock. Enjoy, and go pick up Comic Relief: The Greatest… And the Latest set on DVD.
