There’s no meandering around it, Definitely, Maybe is certainly one of my favorite movies this year. Sure it’s a romantic comedy, but even my friends who detest romantic comedies have enjoyed this one. The way the story is told, the talented cast, all of it comes together to make one of the best movies about love and relationships in recent memory.
Definitely, Maybe is headed for DVD on June 24th and is guaranteed a spot in my collection. The disc may not be as fully loaded as we’d like (frankly, there should be a featurette on the music of the movie alone) but there’s still some potentially good stuff. If nothing else, watching the movie with a commentary that includes star Ryan Reynolds could be a lot of fun.
If you’re interested in picking up Definitely, Maybe, you’ll be interested to know that Sony Home Entertainment will be offering an online coupon for the DVD. That’s $5 off the price of the disc just to download the coupon and use it. Pretty nice.
