Most people associate Frank Oz with Muppets like Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, and the sage Star Wars character Yoda. Unfortunately, people who only know him from his puppetry don’t realize he’s also quite a talented filmmaker, behind great flicks like Little Shop of Horrors, What About Bob?, and, more recently, Death at a Funeral.

The title pretty much gives you the movie’s primary plot device – the patriarch of a dysfunctional family passes away and the family is forced to face its own issues and skeletons in the closet, before they are revealed for them. Among the cast are some incredibly talented people, like Peter Dinklage and Alan Tudyk, so a hilarious time is almost guaranteed. In fact, the movie picked up the Audience Award at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival.

The DVD, headed for stores on February 26th, includes a commentary that features Oz, Tudyk, writer Dean Craig, and actor Andy Nyman. A gag reel is also included.
