Here We Go Again - Mamma Mia On DVD And Blu-Ray Who needs a karaoke machine when you could have Mamma Mia! on DVD or Blu-Ray? Thanks to Universal Studios Home Entertainment you can bring home this fan favorite on December 16th.

Party hard in Greece with the gang of Villa Donna as they prepare for Sophie’s (Amanda Seyfried) wedding. Head honcho, Donna (Meryl Streep), Sophie’s mother, frantically readies for the arrival of the guests. Little does she know, Sophie has read her diary and has identified three men from her mother’s past that could possibly be her father. Sophie takes the liberty of inviting all three to her wedding without telling her mother. When the dashing gentlemen arrive the surprise is nearly too much for Donna to handle. But with the help of her crazy gal pals – crazy might be an understatement - Rosie (Julie Walters) and Tanya (Christine Baranski) and a number of catchy tunes to let her belt emotions out, Donna is able to celebrate the special occasion with her friends and family.

Both the DVD and Blu-ray edition are packed with bonus material. But, the only one that really matters is the feature that allows viewers to sing along to all 19 songs from the movie. The Blu-ray disc also brings you the BD Live element, but you might be rocking out with your friends too much to even get to it.

When it comes down to it, Mamma Mia! is more of a novelty than a quality film. It’s simply fun. And, at some points, in particular the points at which Pierce Brosnan sings, it’s downright funny too. If you’re looking to put a smile on somebody’s face during the holiday season you can stuff their stocking with either the single disc DVD for $29.98, the 2-disc special edition for $34.98 or the Blu-ray version for $39.98. Tis’ the season to not be so critical and just have some fun with a movie.
