I’m very excited about Alone in the Dark 2, the direct-to-DVD sequel to Uwe Boll’s 2005 classic, Alone in the Dark. Actually, “excited” and “classic” are not the correct words to use here. “Indifferent” and “mediocre” are probably better choices. Regardless, there is another movie planned for your DVD player and it’s got the great Lance Henriksen!

If you are wondering, “what does Lance Henriksen look like in Alone in the Dark 2?” then today is your lucky day. He looks like that picture over there on the right. It’s the same picture that is down there at the bottom, click on the thumbnail and you’ll get a bigger version. Alone in the Dark 2 director Peter Scheerer explains a little about Lance’s character. “(He) plays Abner Lundberg, a witch hunter who retired from fighting the occult many years ago, when he found out that fighting the supernatural would slowly turn him into the same evil he wanted to fight against" Sounds pretty interesting and it’s funny that Henriksen’s character’s last name is the same at the boss Gary Cole played on Office Space. Well, pretty close, anyway.

The movie won’t be out on DVD until early next year, but if you are brave enough to buy it, you’ll see lots of really, really big stars. People like Rick Yune, Rachel Specter, bill Moseley, Danny Trejo (I’ve heard of him!), Ralf Moeller, Zach Ward, Natassia Malthe, P.J. Soles, Michael Pare (but no Greatest American Hero sadly), Jason Connery and the famous Brooklyn Sudano. Schreerer wrote and directed alone with Michael Roesch and Boll produced. You know it’s gotta be great.
