Just because Spider-Man 3 didn’t leave anyone begging for a fourth installment, doesn’t mean the public can’t enjoy some animated Spidy action. Thanks to Sony Pictures Television you can own The Spectacular Spider-Man: Volume 2 and The Spectacular Spider-Man: Volume 3 on DVD March 17th for $19.94 each.

These volumes were created from the hit CW Kid’s WB! television show. Both are jam packed with villains for our favorite web-slinger to take down in between Chemistry exams. Volume 2 features the evils of the Shocker, Sandman and Rhino. The danger intensifies in Volume 3 when the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Tombstone pay Spider-Man a visit.

There aren’t many men out there who can say they haven’t dressed up as Spider-Man for Halloween at one point in their lives. As a matter of fact, I know a number of girls who can claim the same. Spider-Man has entertained for generations and shows no sign of stopping. Even though The Spectacular Spider-Man ended its run on Kid’sWB!, it is set to relaunch sometime this year on Disney’s XD network. And, even though Spider-Man 3 was considered a disappointment, Spider-Man 4 is expected to reach theaters in 2011.
