Okay, so it’s no Incredible Hulk, but for some people the trailer for Lost Boys 2: The Tribe has been just as eagerly awaited. Granted, these are the people who define a good Friday night as involving a trip to Wal-Mart and probably have consumed more quantities of illegal material than they have brain cells left, but they have feelings too. Fortunately, the trailer for Lost Boys 2 has been released thanks to MTV.com.

I’d like to tell you the trailer is significantly different from what I was expecting and has completely changed my mind about the movie, but I can’t. The truth is it’s exactly what I was expecting – The Covenant or The Craft, only with vampires. Hell, there’s no real subtlety to the fact that they are vampires either, with them flat out telling everyone in the trailer that they are, and then vamping out with more makeup than Kiefer Sutherland’s crew ever had.

As expected, the appearance by Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman) dominates a good part of the trailer, even though it’s reportedly not much more than a cameo.
