Pixar continued its unrivaled quality streak this past May with Up, a film that managed to reduce grown men to blubbering, weepy messes during the first 10 minutes using almost no dialogue. It’s like a magic trick, except with snot running down your chin and a desperate craving for a hug.

On November 10th, Pixar’s Up will drift into view as a two-disc DVD and Blu-ray release, packed with a zeppelin-load of special features. Up follows a crotchety old widower (Ed Asner) who straps a buttload of balloons to his house and floats off on an adventure. Along for the ride are a chubby hyperactive kid named Russell (Jordan Nagai), a talking dog (co-writer/co-director Bob Peterson), and a giant bird named Kevin. The two-disc DVD lists for $39.99; the four-disc Blu-ray for $45.99.
