Seinfeld's Bee Movie Flies Into Single And Two Disc EditionsAuthor: Rafe Telsch

In case you somehow missed the millions of advertising hours that went into ensuring you were aware, Jerry Seinfeld was in a movie last year. He provided the voice of Barry in Dreamworks’ Bee Movie, which is coming to DVD on March 11th.
The benefit to all of those annoying hours of promotion is they offer some bonus material for the DVD. So much bonus material, in fact, that Bee Movie is being offered in single disc and double disc editions. The Special Edition 2-Disc DVD offers “More Jerry” and “More Barry,” while the single disc edition offers a cut down list of the two disc’s contents. That’s a refreshing change from the typical single disc/two-disc editions where the single disc is just the first one from the two-disc set, or where the single disc edition carries no bonus material at all. Sadly, looking over the list of bonus materials, even the two-disc edition doesn’t look all that fully stocked, with a lot of the bonus material having been seen before during NBC commercial breaks on online. Considering how quickly I got burned out on some of those TV Junior spots when they were on TV, I’m not sure the disc is going to have much replay value. Here’s a look at the DVD contents, and you can check out the cover art to the right. Bee Movie comes out on DVD on March 11th.
