Spend Christmas In Colbert Country

Spend Christmas In Colbert Country Celebrate that most wonderful time of year with Stephen Colbert. On November 25th, Paramount Home Entertainment and Comedy Central bring you A Colbert Christmas: The Greatest Gift of All on DVD. To think, I was hoping to get a new phone for the holiday.

Nothing can stop Stephen Colbert from visiting Elvis Costello in New York City, not even a major snowstorm. With the help of musical performers Feist, Toby Keith, John Legend and Willie Nelson, he makes his way out of his cabin in bear country (upstate New York) and heads to the big apple. This musical comedy has tons of holiday laughs as well as a number of original songs written by David Javerbaum and composer Adam Schlesinger. Even Colbert gets in on some of the singing action.

Wish you could see the program before spending the $19.99 on the DVD? You can! Comedy Central will air the one-hour special on Sunday, November 23rd at 10:00pm ET/PT. Then, if it makes you all warm and fuzzy inside, you can hit the store the next day when the DVD is released and get a copy.

If you tend to get into a very giving mood during the holiday season, you can give twice by picking up this DVD. Not only could it be the perfect gift for a resident of Colbert Country, but a portion of the proceeds will benefit Feeding America. Comedy, music, charity and bonus material that includes a book burning Yule log? Sounds like the perfect holiday celebration to me.
