Need help finding a gift for your loved one for Valentine’s Day? Well, this probably won’t help. But, if you’re looking to send some love to a little one in your life, then Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment might have just what you need. A February 3rd release date will give you just enough time to pick up Strawberry Shortcake: Happily Ever After on DVD for the holiday.
Strawberry Shortcake, Angel Cake and Rainbow Sherbet are back and having loads of fun in two new adventures. In “Sleeping Beauty,” Brambleberry Fairy (Angel Cake) puts a spell on Princess Strawberry Rose that puts her to sleep. The only one who is able to awaken the Princess is Prince Huckleberry. Then, in “A Princess Named Rap,” Princess Rapunzel’s (Rainbow Sherbet) unroyal-like interests in ships and navigation worry her teacher. But when the teacher’s rowboat is dragged out to sea, Rapunzel proves that she is more than capable of ruling her kingdom.
This DVD may not come with any commentary or deleted scenes, but it does include a few things the kids will love much more. You’ll get some free Valentine’s Day greeting cards, downloadable color games and a character memory game. This “berry” cute DVD can be a sweet way to celebrate Valentine’s Day for $14.98.
