You’d think just about everything would be out on DVD by now – after all, we’re potentially moving on to a bigger and better format, right? But no, some things have yet to appear on the DVD scene, like The Smurfs for instance. Those loveable little blue creatures (only three apples high) are finally making their DVD debut with The Smurfs: Season One, Volume One, a two-disc DVD set that’s just, well, smurfy!

The Smurfs: Season One, Volume One hits DVD on February 26th with 19 episodes of the original, Emmy nominated series. While we don’t have an episode list handy for the discs, expect to see lots of smurf, a little bit of smurf, and some smurfy goodness from all. You can also expect to see a bonus special: The Smurfs Springtime Special which features the Smurfs preparing to celebrate Easter. Also included is a music video for that insanely addictive theme song.
