I’m pretty damn excited about this and have been saying thank-yous to St. Hubbins, the patron saint of quality footwear, since I heard about it. Blu-ray.com doesn’t have any details but the fact that this movie is coming to clear HD is enough for me right now.

If you’ve been busy at the Isle of Lucy Blues-Jazz Festival and haven’t seen Rob Reiner’s mockumentary of England’s loudest band, Spinal Tap, now is the time to get acquainted. It could be the greatest comedy of all time. Hopefully this Blu-ray release will have some new features or maybe even a new commentary. The release date is not that far before my birthday, time to start dropping hints around my house.
