We “Baracked” the vote and soon we’ll be able to “Barack” our DVD players. NBC News is allowing people to pre-order The Inauguration of Barack Obama on DVD. You know all of those people who stood outside to watch the event take place in freezing temperatures? They’ve probably beaten you to placing an order, so if you’re interested, I’d do so now.

Brian Williams walks you through four hours of inauguration coverage. Some particular events you’ll find on the DVD are the swearing-in ceremony, President Obama’s Inaugural Address, the changing of the guard at the White House, the Inaugural parade and the Inaugural Balls.

One time was enough for me, but if you value our country and its history, as you should, this DVD could be an excellent way to commemorate the event. You can pre-order your DVD at the NBC Universal Store today for $19.99, but you’ll have to wait until March 10th for the item to be shipped. It looks like it’s a Barack Obama bobblehead for me.
