There was a simpler time, not so long ago, when Seth MacFarlane had yet to secure domination over Fox's Sunday-night line-up. A time when Family Guy was his only baby, and when The Cleveland Show was just an ugly spark dancing around his neurons and waiting to be born. But before things spun that out of control, we would first get the middle child, American Dad. A show I hated with vigor initially, but which managed to grow on me. As with all of MacFarlane's shows, you either like his style of humor or you don't, but the show has improved and found its own groove over the years, resulting in memorable American Dad moments such as, well, the apocalypse. And, again: at least it ain't The Cleveland Show.
For those AD fans out there, the sixth volume of the show will be coming to DVD on April 19th, courtesy of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. You can check out the official press release below, which is long on silliness and short on detail. At least we know the set will include some bonus features, though we don't get a full run down of what they'll comprise. Los Angeles, CA -- Agents from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment closed in on the elusive extraterrestrial named Roger. He was found residing at the home of CIA agent Stan Smith, star of the animated comedy “American Dad.” Imagine our surprise! |
