It’s been a couple of years since Seth MacFarlane and company parodied the first Star Wars movie in Family Guy: Blue Harvest. About time for their Empire Strikes Back, then, don’t you think? Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment obviously agrees, because Family Guy: Something, Something, Something, Dark Side hits Blu-ray, DVD, and digital download December 22nd, and iTunes has the trailer right over here.

If you opt for one of the disc versions, you’ll get special features including an audio commentary, deleted scenes, a behind-the-scenes featurette, and animatics. In addition to Stewie’s inimitable take on Vader, this time we’ll get Carl as Yoda and Mort as Lando Calrissian. Will there be more good-hearted jabs at Robot Chicken? We can but hope.
