There’s a reason Todd Phillips is making The Hangover 2; The Hangover is hysterical! It’s time to help Phil, Stu, and Alan piece together their night of debauchery, because The Hangover hits DVD and Blu-ray on December 15th. Remember, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Well, if you can remember what happens, that is.
Doug (Justin Bartha) is about to get married and decides to spend his last night as a single guy partying in Vegas with his best friends Stu (Ed Helms) and Phil (Bradley Cooper) and soon-to-be brother-in-law Alan (Zach Galifianakis). The boys hit the strip and…well, they don’t quite remember what happened next. On top of that, Doug is missing. Can Alan, Phil, and Stu figure out what went on the night before and bring their buddy home in time for his wedding? Should I even mention that you can buy a single-disc DVD version of the film for $29.98? Whether you’re one of the many people who contributed to the film’s over $273 million domestic box-office haul or you’re joining the party for the first time, you’re going to want the special editions; trust me. Both the two-disc DVD and BD release come with the theatrical and unrated versions of the movie, picture-in-picture commentary, “Map of Destruction,” “The Madness of Ken Jeong,” “Action Mash-Up,” “Three Best Friends Song,” “The Dan Band!” a gag reel, and more pictures from the missing camera. Exclusive to the BD via BD-Live is the “Iron Mike Online Teaser” and “Cursing Mash-Up.” You don’t make a movie this funny and not have the bonus material follow suit. A whole featurette devoted to Ken Jeong? How can that not be hilarious? |
